APPIES 2020 MARKETING CAMPAIGNS CONFERENCE on April 10, 2020 is all about Sharing, Learning and Excellence, in the form of a Day Conference with the aim of raising professionalism and talent in the marketing industry.

The '4-6-5' format: Each of the marketing campaigns selected begins with a 4-minute video summarising the campaign, followed by a live 6-minute exposition of the campaign's key highlights by the brand's marketers or campaign creators. After this, comes the stimulating 5 minute Q&A session where the presenters have to field tough questions about their campaigns from the judges and audience members.
By the end of the 1-day event, all participants and audience members gain tangible takeaways from the impressive showcase of 54 award-worthy campaigns and memorable keynote sessions. They leave armed with deeper strategic insights and knowledge about how to apply some of the winning ideas to their own marketing campaigns in the future.

APPIES Malaysia is an annual festival of the best marketing ideas and it is organised by MARKETING MAGAZINE on April 10, 2020. What sets The APPIES apart from other events is that each featured campaign is presented Live by the brand marketers and campaign creators themselves before a panel of judges and an industry audience.
Known as the “TED of Marketing”, campaigns are presented in an interactive format comprising of a four-minute creative reel summary, followed by a six-minute oral presentation highlighting significant aspects of the campaign. The presenter then answers 2-3 questions from the judges and audience in a 5-minute Q&A session.
Campaigns must have run between April 2019 – March 2020 in any of these 10 categories – Consumer Durables, Consumer Services, Food and Beverage, Non-food FMCG, Business Services, and Government, Cultural, Social and Environmental campaigns.
Both creative, media, digital and marketing organisations can submit their entries by 28th January 2020.
